In-Kind Gifts
The Catholic Charities Agency in Springfield has been actively working with newly arrived refugees for the past few years. We have organized several ways to support the newcomers in every way we can including but not limited to our Circles of Care (CoCs), volunteer, gifts, housing and childcare assistance, grocery shopping help, translations, and much more in order to make their transitions easier and faster. We could not have accomplished this without the support and commitment of our Circles of Care, volunteers, and donors.
One of the best way to fulfill the arriving refugees need collectively, is to purchase gift cards from Walmart and/or Target that we can give directly to them. Please mail gift cards to: Catholic Charities, 65 Elliot St., Springfield 01105. The other way to fulfill the newcomers need is, to provide them goods they need either new or very gently used goods.
