The Plight and Journey of Congolese Refugees

  • Edwards Church 297 Main Street Northampton, MA, 01060 United States (map)

Several of the refugees we hope to resettle in Northampton originally come from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Many have spent much of their lives in refugee camps in neighboring countries.

Please join us to learn more about experiences common to people fleeing the Congo, and their eventual resettlement in the United States.

This discussion will take place at Edwards Church Sanctuary on three different dates:

Tuesday, Feb. 28th from 7:00-8:30pm
Thursday, March 2nd from 9:30-11:00a.m.

These informational sessions will be open to all volunteers as well as to the larger community.
